Armee <del class="diffchange diffchange-inline">unterstellt</del>. <del class="diffchange diffchange-inline">Ab Anfang 1942 unterstand das Bataillon direkt der </del>18. Armee) und ab 1941 an </ins>der <ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">Ostfront (Nordrussland/18</ins>. Armee<ins class="diffchange diffchange-inline">) zum Einsatz. | || colspan="3" | Das '''Bau-Bataillon 100''' wurde bei der Mobilmachung am 26.08.1939 im Wehrkreis VIII (Breslau) aufgestellt. Das Bataillon wurde aus Einheiten des Reichsarbeitsdienst RAD als Heerestruppe aufgestellt. Anfangs wurde das Bataillon in Südpolen bei der 10. Armee eingesetzt. Am 28.02.1940 wurde das Bataillon im Wehrkreis VII unter Entlassung des RAD zum Bau-Bataillon 100 der Wehrmacht umgegliedert. Zu Beginn des Frankreichfeldzuges stand das Bataillon im Bereich der 12. Armee. Zu Beginn des Ostfeldzuges war das Bataillon beim Angriff auf Nordrussland im Einsatz. Anfangs unterstand das Bataillon dem XXVI. Armeekorps bei der 18. Armee. Mitte August 1941 wurde das Bataillon dem XXXXII. Armeekorps bei der 18. Armee unterstellt. Ab Anfang 1942 unterstand das Bataillon direkt der 18. Armee. Teile vom Bataillon wurden aber weiter einzelnen Korps unterstellt. Im Herbst 1942 unterstand das Bataillon dann kurze Zeit der 11. Armee. Im Dezember 1942 unterstand das Bataillon wieder der 18. Armee. Am 03.07.1943 erhielt das Bataillon eine 1. Tatarische Kompanie zugeteilt. Am 19.08.1943 wurde das Bataillon in Baupionier-Bataillon 100 umbenannt. Anfang 1945 wurde das Bataillon in Kurland unter dem XXXVIII. Panzerkorps eingesetzt.<br />
